48" x 48" acrylic on canvas.
This painting depicts a recent perception, a glance to my left as I passed a local pond frozen for the first time this year. While driving, all becomes a blur, as we can only "take in" ever so briefly what we pass along the way. Disquised amongst and behind cascading trees and brush, this body of water has always been a popular ice skating excursion.
